Who We Are
Edward D. Rodezno is a Licensed Educational Psychologist, Special Education Advocate, and CEO of Pacific Advocacy Counseling & Evaluations (PACE). With over 15 years of dedicated service in Southern California public school districts—including Long Beach, Burbank, and Los Angeles —Edward specializes in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, clinical mental health interventions, and systemic educational advocacy for K–12 students.
Edward’s private practice brings high-level district expertise directly to families navigating complex special education systems. His core practice areas include:
Comprehensive Independent Evaluations: Expertise in psychoeducational and Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) assessments across all 13 special education eligibility categories (including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disability).
Bilingual Assessment & Family Advocacy: Available native Spanish bilingual evaluations and cross-cultural advocacy, ensuring non-English speaking families have an active, informed voice during SST, 504, and/or IEP team meetings.
Special Education Consultation: Strategic guidance for families seeking appropriate educational placements, secondary options, and collaborative resolutions with school districts.
Evidence-Based Support: Integration of positive psychology, mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and ecological systems theory to design strengths-based behavioral and mental health intervention plans.
By combining deep clinical insights with a thorough understanding of school district operations, Edward empowers families to secure the accommodations, services, and equitable educational outcomes their children deserve.
